Operation Jayhawk Honor
Here at the University of Kansas we have a heritage of duty, public service, and sacrifice. In recognition of the KU students and alumni that proudly gave their lives for the freedoms we have today, the war memorials atop Mt. Oread were dedicated as an enduring reminder that vigilance and perseverance are our solemn duties as Americans and freedom-loving peoples. Each engraved name represents someone who studied in classes, climbed the hills, and ran the fields as you do today. We honor those brave souls by acknowledging their sacrifices, continuing their legacies, and perpetuating the traditions of the university they loved so dearly. We here at the Collegiate Veterans Association, along with KU Endowment, take pride in providing a fund to continue the general upkeep of a few of the University's more notable structures. Please help us spread the word by "Liking" our Facebook page. To donate to our cause you can visit KU Endowment.

Veteran's Day 5K
Our annual 5K is a walk/run event that honors both past and present service members. Proceeds from the run contribute to Operation Jayhawk Honor and the KU Wounded Warriors Fund.

We are currently considering additional projects/events. If you would like to make a suggestion or take part in planning and carrying out current projects please contact us.
